Fue a trav\u00e9s del acuerdo de junta directiva 1543 para darle paso a la ampliaci\u00f3n. \u201cPara brindar un sistema de seguridad social a favor de quienes habitan en el extranjero y ahora son un pilar en el sostenimiento y desarrollo econ\u00f3mico del pa\u00eds\u201d.\u00a0<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Evelin Soto jefe administrativo del departamento de registro y patronos y trabajadores indic\u00f3: \u201cNace de la necesidad y del imperativo estipulado en la ley org\u00e1nica del Instituto guatemalteco de seguridad social decreto 2-95, establece una ampliaci\u00f3n de cobertura, dirigida a todos aquellos grupos que son parte de la producci\u00f3n econ\u00f3mica del pa\u00eds\u201d.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Seg\u00fan informaci\u00f3n del sistema IGSS, el n\u00facleo familiar debe residir en el territorio guatemalteco para gozar de las prestaciones otorgadas por <\/span><b>el seguro de enfermedad, maternidad y accidentes. <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Tambi\u00e9n incluye prestaciones <\/span><b>pecuniarias<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> y podr\u00e1 optar a la pensi\u00f3n vitalicia <\/span><b>mensual por vejez<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, pensi\u00f3n mensual para los <\/span><b>beneficiarios del migrante<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> y <\/span><b>cuota mortuoria<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> en caso de fallecimiento sin que exista gastos de repatriaci\u00f3n.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u201cLa cobertura de los riesgos para los mencionados tendr\u00e1 un costo de mil quetzales exactos y podr\u00e1 realizarse desde el extranjero o por medio de un residente en Guatemala. Los beneficiarios incluyen a la esposa o conviviente e hijos menores de siete a\u00f1os y el migrante con sus aportes podr\u00e1 contribuir a pensi\u00f3n que otorga el IVC\u201d dijo Evelin Soto.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Tambi\u00e9n el beneficio incluye al migrante guatemalteco \u201cRecordemos que esta ampliaci\u00f3n aplica para el migrante en estatus migratorio regular como irregular. Como atenci\u00f3n pedi\u00e1trica a ni\u00f1os menores de siete a\u00f1os\u201d.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">A estos servicios tambi\u00e9n son beneficiados los migrantes guatemaltecos siempre y cuando est\u00e9n de visita en el pa\u00eds. Pueden adquirir los servicios de medicina general, m\u00e9dico quir\u00fargico y medicamentos \u201cTanto el migrante como su familia tienen acceso a la seguridad social y beneficios del programa EMA en iguales condiciones que los afiliados nacionales\u201d.<\/span><\/p><p>\u00a0<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t<section
